Your Career

Reporting to the Sr. Operations Manager, the Deal Management Analyst will play a critical role in supporting both presales and post sales deal activity for Palo Alto Networks Financial Services (or PANFS) the Company’s captive financing program.  As part of the PANFS team you will have a unique opportunity to be part of a newly formed and growing team within Palo Alto Networks. It is a role that requires collaboration with multiple teams including sales operations, sales finance, revenue, technical accounting, tax, legal, IT, and sales. 

 

Your Impact

1.            Support the Company’s product sales teams on all incoming financing requests including pricing, deal structuring, and documentation.

2.            Work closely with the Company’s deals desk and sales finance teams to ensure PANFS deals are structured in accordance with the Company’s and PANFS’s economic expectations.

3.            Work closely with PANFS’s Credit and Operations Manager to ensure all PANFS transactions meet the minimum required risk profiles.

4.            Ensure that all PANFS transactions are processed accurately in accordance with PANFS documented policies and procedures.

5.            Coordinate with the Company’s legal team on all non-standard terms and conditions.

6.            Administer and support PANFS financing transactions over the entire deal life cycle. 

 

Skills

1.            Strong working knowledge of the global leasing and finance industry (including accounting and revenue implications)

2.            Strong working knowledge of transaction structures for equipment and software financing including relevant experience with contract administration. 

3.            Experience with Solifi (previously IDS Rapport and InfoLease) lease/loan system is a plus

4.            Experience managing and working with banks and third-party finance companies

5.            Positive attitude and highly professional demeanor, sense of humor helps!

Qualifications

1.            Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance or equivalent area

2.            MBA preferred.

3.            Minimum 5 years of leasing/financing experience

4.            Strong working knowledge of the global leasing and finance industry (including accounting and revenue implications)

5.            Strong working knowledge of transaction structures for equipment and software financing including relevant experience with contract administration. 

6.            Experience with IDS Rapport and InfoLease lease/loan system is a plus.

7.            Experience managing and working with banks and third-party finance companies.

8.            Positive attitude and highly professional demeanor, sense of humor helps!

9.            Strong quantitative and analytical skills

10.         Exceptional organization, prioritization, multi-tasking and time management skills.

11.         A proactive and assertive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.

12.         Proficiency in Google Suite applications as well as certain Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

13.         Ability to solve problems and think quickly under pressure.

14.         Work effectively as a team player in a collaborative environment as well with peers and members of the greater organization.

15.         Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
