Position: PM, Microsoft Philanthropies Tech for Social Impact - Rural Healthcare Expansion


Main Responsibilities:
Oversee and track project stakeholders and progress to ensure timely execution and alignment with goals.
Manage ongoing documentation, including the maintenance of a current status deck for the project.
Provide weekly updates on project status, ensuring visibility with key stakeholders including the Corporate Vice President.
Monitor and support partners in meeting their commitments and delivering on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


Project Components:
This role is a key part of a multifaceted project aimed at enhancing rural healthcare through technology and security improvements, with responsibilities including:
Part 1: Offering free security assessments and training for rural hospitals, plus access to Microsoft products and support.
Part 2: Conducting in-depth assessments and remediation for a select group of hospitals, with the goal of creating a case study by mid-year.
Part 3: Overseeing an AI Innovation Lab for rural hospitals, managed in partnership with a consulting firm.


Additional Role Information:
The project is in its initial phases, with this role expected to dedicate 50-70% of its time to these core responsibilities. The remaining time will be spent supporting other projects within the TSI spectrum.


Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates..
• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.


Skills:

• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

• Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.


Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• 8-10 years experience required.


Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team:
o PM, Microsoft Philanthropies Tech for Social Impact - Rural Healthcare Expansion
• Key projects:
o Oversee and track project stakeholders and progress to ensure timely execution and alignment with goals.
o Manage ongoing documentation, including the maintenance of a current status deck for the project.
o Provide weekly updates on project status, ensuring visibility with key stakeholders including the Corporate Vice President.
o Monitor and support partners in meeting their commitments and delivering on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
•Event Logistics & Administrative Support:
Operational and logistics support for events and workshops, customer status tracking, comms support, and reporting.
Help the Campaign Success team stay organized and coordinated by assisting with calendaring, scheduling, note taking, processing purchase order requests, and maintaining internal SharePoint & Teams sites
•Cross-Team Administrative Support, Collateral Development, & Tracking:
Assist in tracking cross-team efforts including partnerships, initiatives, and events.
Assist in developing and reviewing designed collateral marketing materials (i.e. one-pagers, reports, decks and presentation materials) that are geared both towards external audiences and internal stakeholders.

o Best candidate has previous Microsoft experience.

Experience with Virtual Event Management.

1. 8-10 years experience - Project Management. Individuals with 8-10 years of experience in project management have skills in various aspects of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
2. 8-10 years experience – Communication. 8-10 years of experience in communication with skills in both verbal and written communication across various mediums such as emails, presentations, reports, meetings, and interpersonal interactions. They excel in conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely to different audiences, including colleagues, clients, stakeholders, and executives.

3. 8-10 years experience - Event Management. Comprehensive understanding of the entire event lifecycle, from initial concept development and budgeting to venue selection, vendor management, logistics coordination, marketing promotion, and post-event evaluation.


Compensation: 45-50.97 Hourly W2 (Open to C2C)
