Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is work in the office of the CTO for the Commercial Solutions Area - defining a set of business rules that govern the way that Microsoft displays offers to the field sales organization. This individual will help define and stand up to start running and working across different orgs to build out the stakeholder list and to get the right people for approval and build out that governance.
• Key projects: This role will contribute to scheduling, logistics, and communications.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of:
• Setting up a rhythm of the business for governance rules.
• Engage and collaborate with myriad stakeholders to ensure buy-in.
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
• Confer with management and the broader CTO CSA team to discuss project specifications and procedures.'


Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 years experience required overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field degree is required to be eligible for this role.
• Disqualifiers: If candidates are under qualified for the role. Can’t be too junior and needs someone as a self-starter with executive presence.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain:
• Prior Experience working in Microsoft sales organization in the past (HUGE PLUS) not a absolute need, but huge plus.
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of business and management principles • Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on hitting key deadlines and milestones and executing a list of tasks and being a self-starter. Stake holder feedback.


Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience 

1. 5 Years of Experience with Communication skills, Verbal and Written communication skills. Communicate at an exec level but also a more tangible level as well.
2. 3 Years of Experience Create and maintain detailed project plans across a variety of tools. Demonstrated experience managing complex projects that involves multiple work streams and dependencies.
3. Any Prior Experience as a Communications director in the past.


Compensation: 50-58.07 Hourly W2 (Open to C2C)
