The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project.

Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• 5-7 years' experience required.

'Typical Day in the Role
• Purpose of the Team: our organization is a worldwide incentive compensation organization.
• Key projects: We manage Microsoft incentive programs for sellers, we do a lot of project management and a lot of updates.
• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: 50% working on content updates, making changes on our SharePoint site, on our E- courses for us sellers every day, 30% of their time will be working on project management, ad 20% working on communications work, like email communications to the field and helping the managers to manage the process.

Candidate Requirements
• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 Years of experience • Degrees or certifications required: Someone with Project Management experience.
• Disqualifiers: If I see typos, or grammatical errors on their resume as we do is communication space, writing and going through things with a fine comb.
• Best vs. Average: If they have used the articulate programs that we used to create our E- courses and are very familiar with the Microsoft tools will be a definite bonus.
• Performance Indicators: deadlines
