We are looking for Scrum Master candidates to take a look at a remote, contract opportunity with a financial industry client. 

Job Description:

You will be responsible for the oversight of scrum processes with a specific focus on supporting our work on a cloud implementation. You will be coaching team members in scrum methodology, coordinating daily scrum meetings, and monitoring the team's progress and performance to assure successful sprints. You will collaborate with stakeholders to support release planning, foster team decision-making, and facilitate collaboration between the scrum team and product owner.

Responsibilities

•             Coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies throughout the project.

•             Facilitating and participating in the daily standup.

•             Helping the team maintain their burndown chart.

•             Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.

•             Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.

•             Shielding the team from interruptions during the sprint.

•             Removing obstacles that affect the team.

•             Walking the product owner through more technical user stories.

•             Encouraging collaboration between the Scrum team and product owner.

Minimum Qualifications

•             A minimum of seven years of professional experience in coordinating and administering phases of an information technology project.

•             A minimum of five years of experience as a Scrum Master

•             Scrum Master Certification

•             Experience working with financial applications

•             Proficient in Azure DevOps

•             Experience in writing standard operating procedures

•             Leadership skills to lead scrum teams

•             Effectively leading scrum ceremonies

•             Strong organizational skills
