The Music Publishing team is looking for an Engineering Project Manager who will support our royalty processing systems with the overarching goal of accurate and timely reporting and payment to rights holders.

Key Qualifications

•             Minimum 5-8 years of engineering project management experience preferably with cross functional and data driven systems.

•             Proficiency in understanding data relationships, data quality aspects.

•             Skilled in defining and validating data consistency requirements.

•             Skilled in using a variety of tools (excel, relational database, scripts etc) for data analysis.

•             Strong sense of project risk including the ability to predict, clarify, assess, track, and mitigate.

•             Able to focus on the details whilst also seeing the big picture and being comfortable with a level of ambiguity.

•             Outstanding organizational skills; the ability to deliver to a tight timeframe whilst maintaining quality of work.

•             Accuracy and thorough attention to detail is crucial; able to follow defined processes.

Description

•             Work cross functionally to understand business development initiatives.

•             Work with commercials, legal, finance, strategy teams to define the publishing systems requirements.

•             Work with various engineering teams to understand their design and limitations.

•             Communicate systems requirements to engineering teams via clearly written requirements documents, diagrams, and effective verbal communication.

•             Work with other EPMs to understand the overall roadmap, milestones, inter dependencies and assess how those impact music publishing downstream processing.

•             Document and present the business initiative, publishing strategy, timelines, dependencies, process changes (if any) to stakeholders.

•             Articulate system requirements clearly with additional context (as needed) to cross functional stakeholders.

•             Ensure data consistency at various points in the report generation workflow.

•             Able to define test cases and perform meticulous UAT testing.

•             Simultaneously handling multiple lines of work with competing priorities.

•             Work under limited supervision, using good judgment about when to seek guidance

•             Drive initiatives through to execution while focusing on project and status transparency, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and aware throughout the process.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
