This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Sales associate to sell our products which include semi-conductor product applications, component and sub-assembly circuitry, medical instrumentation and devices, test and measurement instrumentation for a variety of analog and digital applications, defense systems, air and spacecraft, geophysical exploration instrumentation, and consumer products.
Job Description
The Outside Technical Sales associate will report directly to the Sales Manager as a member of the sales team. This position will be responsible for all outside sales and business development, including Technical Sales support relating to our products. The Outside Technical Sales associate will work with the inside sales team in a collaborative approach to drive the company's targeted goals of customer acquisition and revenue. Expect to travel both domestically and internationally as much as is necessary to successfully ensure business goals are met or exceeded.

Essential Job Functions
• Manage overall outside sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales channel management, including interfacing as needed with Reps and Distributors
• Meet with the various domestic manufacturers' representatives, jointly or separately visiting customers and prospects while keeping the reps in the loop
• Maintain key customer relationships; develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base
• Develop, utilize and implement new approaches and ideas to improve ongoing customer support and enhance customer loyalty

• Must have BS degree in a technical discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering and/or Physics
• Minimum of 5 years experience in outside technical sales with a thorough knowledge of Technical Sales structure and functionality.
• Must have a sound understanding of principles and concepts in Sales and a basic understanding of engineering development and semiconductor manufacturing
• Preferred application engineering experience in hardware technologies, but not required
• Ability to interact regularly with internal functions and external customers to provide a range of information and/or services
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively to meet with domestic and international customers, manufacturers' representatives, and prospective customers
• We will NOT consider candidates who do not have semiconductor sales experience. Experience in discrete semiconductor devices a big plus.
