The Information Management team is expanding its business enablement services; we need to grow our staff to meet increasing demand for intranet content, automation, reporting, governance, and data management. Your key responsibilities
As a Junior Backend Developer you will be responsible for acquiring data from multiple sources (via APIs, scraping, file import, etc.), cleaning the data, enriching related metadata, and storing the results in databases for use by internal applications. Ensuring the stored data is accurate, up-to-date, and usable is paramount. You will create applications that improve the efficiency of backend processes, such as ensuring the quality and usability of Information Security's internal websites, coordinating with internal InfoSec teams to update content, creating site governance reports, and applying information taxonomies to data. A strong technical aptitude and an interest in technical disciplines will be important in building relationships with team members.

To qualify for the role you must have
Minimum of one year experience as a backend developer.
Skills in integrating data sources into databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with authentication and authorization techniques
Intermediate database administration skills
Experience with developing and maintaining process documents
Ideally, you'll also have
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint
Familiarity with a backend framework such as Express and Django
Familiarity with frontend frameworks/libraries such as Angular and React
