  • Create, implement, and integrate SharePoint Online as a solution for enterprise records and content management
  • Work with appropriate stakeholders to create metadata profiles for electronic information to identify retention series and create descriptions to incorporate classification for data privacy and data security
  • Participate on cross-functional teams responsible for assessing new technology and changes to existing technology in order to identify and ensure data protection and privacy controls, are effectively implemented and adopted as standard within SDLC process including activities associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations
  • Assist in IG/RIM data mapping to identify all sources of information and records, including source-to-target mapping integrations, specific data elements, access level permissions and associated record retention schedules across enterprise ecosystem (unstructured and structured data repositories and physical inventory)
  • Assist in review of information technologies to make recommendations on automating storage and disposal of electronic records
  • Support our privacy and data security program with vendor due diligence and internal user training
  • Prepare reports regarding progress of data classification, retention and disposition initiatives
  • Audit company's RIM to determine whether modifications are required to records schedules based on legal, fiscal, operational, and any secondary (historical, research, etc.) value and monitor/report changes in the organizational business environment that could impact the creation and use of records
  • Maintain professional, industry and organizational knowledge to serve as RIM/IG subject matter expert and actively participate in records management professional industry organizations and conferences (ARMA, MER, Sedona, AIIM, etc)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor's degree in information management, information systems, law, computer science OR equivalent certification (ERM, CRM, ECM, IGP) with 5 years of continuous information governance and/or records management experience
  • Experience building and maintaining records inventories, file plans and master plan creation, and disposition schedules
  • Background in automated records management principles and systems, as well as other information technology systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, tools, and techniques in support records management operations
  • Exhibit working knowledge of administering an electronic document management system in SharePoint Online (prior experience deploying, configuring, and integrating SPO is a plus)
  • Ability to liaise with IT and the business to establish appropriate metadata and taxonomy controls to improve the classification and accessibility of information/records
  • Ability to organize multiple projects, exercise good judgment, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Dedication to build relations across all lines of the enterprise/internal and external stakeholders/vendors to accomplish successful Records Management implementation
  • Communicates effectively with peers and stakeholders, orally and in writing
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and analytic skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with confidence and under pressure, delivering on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and industry best practice in electronic records management and repositories
  • Experience in project management, project execution, and manage multiple priorities in a timeline driven environment
  • Demonstrated work ethic dedicated to excellence
  • Ability to adapt to change in emerging environments and work across multiple areas
  • Prior experience creating policies and procedures preferred
  • Direct experience with Exterro GRC Platform PREFERRED
  • 3+ Experience with Microsoft 0365 Security & Compliance tools PREFERRED
